Square bases, similar to cross bases, are best on flat, smooth surfaces, making them an ideal choice for indoor use.

If you intend for outdoor use, we recommend using stakes to make your base sturdier. We offer stakes as part of your package, as well as bags to add weight to your bases.

How long do feather flags last?

If taken care of properly, your flag can last for years to come. We recommend following manufacturer instructions that typically include regular washing and air drying. 

Feather flags used indoors will definitely last longer than flags used outdoors. As a flag owner, you need to be cognizant of wind, sun, and negligence. Feather banners need to be properly maintained. Things that can damage your feather flag are long exposure to sunlight and harsh hail damage. Rain or heavy moisture causes the polyester to become wet and heavier, putting strain on the fabric and stitching of the flag. This could potentially cause tearing or the stitching to come undone.
